We’ve got some big changes happening at our Y!
First, let’s go behind the scenes:
WE HAVE A NEW SYSTEM – DAXKO!
We’re launching a new Customer Relationship Management system called Daxko on June 25th. It'll make it easier for our members to do things like register online for programs and update your personal information. You’ll be able to look up and track your visit history and we’ll also have handy keytags to replace your current membership card!
As part of this change, members will also be able to choose between the 5th and the 20th to draft membership dues. An important note: because of this change, account changes (upgrades, downgrades, holds and cancellations) will need to be submitted by the 25th of the month, prior to the next draft.
In advance of this change, we’ll be removing access to our current online registration system on June 17th to allow for the necessary upgrades to take place. If you had used our mobile MDock app, you should know that it will be going away as part of this transition. No worries, though! As part of our transition to Daxko, we will be launching a brand-new mobile experience in the Fall, so members at all of our branches can use their phones to check in at the front desk, access schedules, get alerts, and more!
All members will also need to create a new user account with Daxko. We’ll share instructions about how to use our new system as we get closer to our launch date.
YMCA OF GREATER SYRACUSE IS NOW YMCA OF CENTRAL NEW YORK!
Finally, at the 2019 YMCA Annual Meeting earlier tonight, we announced that we will be changing our name to the YMCA OF CENTRAL NEW YORK! This new name will more accurately reflect the communities we serve, as we expand our programs, services, and facilities, and strengthen our partnerships across our region. We’ll be working on implementing this change over the next few months, but we wanted you to be some of the first to know!
We’re excited to continue to evolve as an organization, enhance our digital platform and meet the needs of our community, as we look to serve you better! We’ll be looking to you for feedback. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
