YMCA College For Kids will not be running for the summer of 2020. You can find alternate camp programs here.

Open registration begins on Monday, April 6, 2020!

Are you a returning camper for College for Kids? This year, we will be sending out a registration link 24 hours earlier to you! We will be using the email address that you or your family had provided during the summer of 2019!

2020 College for Kids Forms:

Online registration is here! All registrations will be done via our online portal: Daxko! Stay tuned for instructions on how this will work, but we are very excited for this change! Also changed for this year is:

  1. Sibling Discount: 1st child is full price, with a 15% sibling discount per additional child on every week registered for College for Kids. Please note that siblings need to be attending the same week for this discount to apply.
  2. Deposits: You no longer have to pay in full at registration! In order to hold your spot, you will only need to pay a $20 non-refundable deposit per week. This is not an additional charge, and each deposit will be taken out of the total cost of camp for the summer.
  3. YMCA Financial Scholarships: We are expanding our income-based scholarship program for College for Kids! Due to the charitable nature of thousands of donors across Central New York, the YMCA is able to provide scholarships for families that normally could not afford camp. More information on this program will be released as we get closer to the summer.

College for Kids is one of Central New York’s most popular summer programs for children ages 8-14. At College for Kids students participate in a full or half day of classes and get a feel for what it’s like to be a college student. College for Kids courses are a kaleidoscope of academic and recreational offerings that include sports, arts and crafts, cooking, computer skills, magic, engineering and more. Each year new instructors and courses are added to serve the diverse interests of the 600+ students who attend.

The Y is proud to partner with Onondaga Community College to continue to bring this programming to our community!
